Vibration absorbers Pumps and compressors generate vibrations & oscillations at piping systems. These cause troublesome noise and high degree stress on the materials. Therefore there is great danger to influence negatively the reliability of service and the economic efficiency of the piping systems. The metallic vibration absorbers, type ALPHA-C and EPSILON-C are used in order to prevent such danger. They help to increase working safety, life expectancy and installation comfort. Arranging and installing them correctly achieve the effectiveness of the vibration absorbers. They have to be mounted as close as possible to the source of vibration. Their axis has to be at right angles to the direction of vibration, so that the oscillation amplitude is acting laterally. Type Alpha C Description: Expansion joint with two van stoned moveable flanges and without inner sleeve. Technical characteristics (dimensions in mm): The nominal diameter range is DN40-DN300. The working pressure range varies between 2bar & 16bar. The vibration absorbers type Alpha-C have to be positioned between two fixed points. Type Epsilon C Description: Expansion joint with two van stoned moveable flanges, with tie-rods, and without inner sleeve.
