Flexible coupling joints are used to absorb bending and torsion forces
applied on a shaft. This is due to the isolated mechanical work of
the elastic parts of the coupling. They reduce axial or lateral misalignments
of the connected shafts. They are also capable of decreasing the resonance
effect, which may be caused by torsional vibrations. The production
of the flexible coupling joints is accomplished according to engineering
designs or samples, supplied by the customers. The selection of the
suitable material depends on the application.
