Axial expansion joints
The axial expansion joints are especially suitable to compensate pipe expansion, particularly in the longitudinal direction of a straight pipe section. They protect pipe systems against vibrations and minor misalignments during installations. They are also capable to absorb troublesome noise.
They are easy to install and only one expansion joint may be positioned between two anchor points. No pipe weight must re st upon the expansion joint which must be properly guided in a linear axial direction, by pipe guides installed adjacent to the expansion joint.
